Scope and content
This accession consists of 1.2 metres of textual records, 296 audio reels (original masters), 678 audiocassettes (original masters) and 661 sound CDs (RedBook Audio format; archival masters), which contain approximately 1000 oral history recordings from the Committee for Original People's Entitlement (COPE). The textual records consist of transcriptions of the audio recordings. These recordings are in Inuvialuktun, Gwich'in and North Slavey and contain life stories of elders as well as traditional legends.
